3rd September 2007 - CCF Acquires SLBM Systems Ltd
CCF, the specialist distributor for interior building products within the Travis Perkins Group, has today acquired SLBM Systems Limited, a Leeds based specialist distributor of drywall, insulation, screeding and under floor heating products. The deal will see CCF strengthen its network in the North, with SLBM System’s two branches in the Leeds area.
Commenting on the acquisition, Andrew Harrison, Managing Director, CCF said, “SLBM Systems Ltd has a very strong presence in the North East but also serves customers nationwide with a strong presence in the South East. The additional capacity at the branches, combined with the knowledge and strength of the SLBM Systems Ltd team will enable us to enhance our customer service in this area.”
This announcement builds on the acquisition earlier in the year of Passmore Drywall and Insulation and further strengthens CCF’s position as one of the leading suppliers of Ceilings, Drywall, Insulation, Partitioning, Fire Protection and Screeding products and sees the CCF network grow to 33 branches across the UK.
The company will continue to trade under the SLBM Systems name and SLBM customers will have the facility to trade at any of the CCF branches nationwide.
